We Are Now Offering Telehealth / Virtual Visits!

Family Medical Group is offering on-demand and scheduled telehealth / virtual visit for acute, non-emergent services such as:

  • Acne
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Cold / Flu
  • Constipation
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Insect bites
  • Nausea / Vomiting
  • Pink eye
  • Rash
  • Sinus
  • Sore throat

On-demand virtual visits are being offered Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. No appointment is necessary. Follow these steps to begin an On-Demand Visit:

  1. Log into your FollowMyHealth Patient Portal Account
  2. On your Home page, Click on the Start Video Visit
  3. Select Family Medical Group of Texarkana
  4. Confirm your audio/video settings
  5. Select the Reason for your Visit
  6. Confirm or Select your Pharmacy information
  7. Pay the Visit Fee of $60.00

Scheduled virtual visits are being offered Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. An appointment is required. Follow these steps to request a Scheduled Virtual Visit:

  1. Log into your FollowMyHealth Patient Portal Account
  2. At the top of the page Click Schedule an Appointment
  3. Click on the Virtual Video Visit Appointment Type, then Click Continue
  4. Click on Dr. Nix as the Provider and then Click Continue
  5. Select a Date and Time preference, Click Save Time Preference, then Click Continue
  6. Type in your reason for visit, then click Schedule Your Appointment
  7. You will receive a response with the date/time of your scheduled Virtual Visit. You will automatically be placed in the virtual waiting room at the time of your visit.
